1993 MTD Log Splitter With 212cc Harbor Freight Motor
I replaced the 5hp Briggs and Stratton motor on my 1993 MTD log splitter. I had to drill new holes and mount the motor closer to the wheel and I had to space out the pump mount since the shaft on the new motor is longer than the shaft of the old motor by 11/16″ It required some 5″ 5/16-24 bolts that I bought at McMaster.com and I also had to get a new coupler spider D size .75 shaft.
