Stolen Wood Splitter Recovered, Felon Arrested
A stolen wood splitter was recovered in Valley Springs Thursday by Calaveras County sheriff’s deputies on the same day it was stolen. Deputies received a report that a wood splitter had been stolen from the 5000 block of Carol Lane in Burson Thursday, and a neighbor said he had seen suspicious people on the property, according to a sheriff’s report.
